An easy read in non-threatening tone, written as answers to often asked questions. Very positive and encouraging, explains problems simply and offers suggestions for dealing with them.

Breastfeeding– Getting Breastfeeding Right For You
By Mary J. RENFREW, Chloe FISHER & Suzanne ARMS Celestial Arts USA 1990

Beautifully presented, accurate, comprehensive. Easy to read and warmly written. Emphasises such things as meeting your babies needs, trusting your judgement, etc. Aims at making mothers feel confident about their decision to breastfeed and to provide them with the support to do so.

Breastfeeding Matters

A wealth of information, with most sources given, the aim is to emphasise the supreme importance of breastfeeding. A significant book.

Adventures in Tandem Nursing

Explores all aspects of tandem-feeding, including feeding through pregnancy, changes in breastmilk composition, general parenting issues with new siblings, dealing with outside opinions and problems mothers may face with tandem feeders. "Adventures in Tandem Nursing" provides an in depth look at tandem breastfeeding and complements ABA's booklet Breastfeeding Through Pregnancy and Beyond. Includes light-hearted cartoon illustrations and is very well researched and referenced.

Running time—20 minutes Sue Cox, a Nursing Mothers’ Counsellor and Lactation Consultant leads an antenatal class and also works with mothers and their new babies. A very handy teaching aid for antenatal use, especially showing real life situations of babies attaching well to the breast.
